This 9,400-square-foot Design-Build project was successfully delivered with a collaborative team of contractors, architects, and civil engineers. This project delivery led to faster and more reliable performance while maintaining the cost and schedule. Aqua-Tots Swim Schools is the largest international swim school franchise, with 160 facilities worldwide.
Heavy collaboration was essential when constructing this multi-tenant shell building, along with the subsequent interior tenant finish of the Aqua-Tots Swim School. Specialized work for this Aqua-Tots project included the swimming pool design, epoxy flooring, a U-shaped glass viewing wall around the pool, and significant mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm designs and installations. Additional areas in this project included the reception area, administrative offices, changing areas, and multiple viewing areas for parents.
Aqua-Tots prides itself on creating well-lit, safe, and bright environments for its students. With this knowledge in mind, our talented team collaborated early and often on the building shell design and construction to mitigate conflict with the indoor pool construction. This project also involved the Design-Build of two additional white box retail suites as income-generating square footage.
